Electronic Statements (e-Statements)

Century Bank of Georgia e-statements is a safe, fast and easy way to view your bank statements. Stop receiving your paper statements through the mail and reduce your risk of paper related identity fraud.  Securely print, view and save your statements all from the convenience of your Web browser.
To get started with e-statements simply sign into your Online Banking, Click “eBanking”.  You will then need to complete four segments of enrollment:

  1. Enroll all available documents.
  2. Validate e-mail address.
  3. Enter security phrase.  This security phrase would be used to verify that the e-mail was sent from Century Bank of Georgia’s e-Statements department.
  4. Accept terms and disclosures.

Q: What is an e-Statement?

 
A: An e-Statement is an electronic version of your statement and images delivered to your e-mail address each month. This is sent to your computer where you can view, print, or store your statements.

 
Q: Who is eligible for E-Statements?

 
A: Anyone that holds a checking or savings account product that currently receives monthly statements

 
Q: What is the cost for online banking?

 
A: Deposit accounts for which statements are produced are eligible to be enrolled in e-Statements. This includes checking, savings, and money market accounts.

 
Q: How do I sign up for e-Statements?

 
A: If you are a Century Bank of Georgia Online Banking customer, simply sign into your Online Banking, Click “eBanking”.  Customers will need to complete four segments of enrollment
  1. Enroll all available documents.
  2. Validate e-mail address

Click on “Document & Settings”.  Accept the e-Statement disclosure and you will immediately have access to e-Statements.  In order to view e-Statements you will need to be enrolled in Online Banking.  If you do not currently have Online Banking please visit our website at www.centurybanknet.com sign up or contact or Customer Service Staff at (770) 387-1922.  Online banking is easy and free.

 

Q: How do I receive and display my e-Statements?

 
A: We will send notification to your designated e-mail address monthly, included with the e-mail will be a secured link to simply click on and enter your NetTeller ID and password to access your statement for that statement cycle. A second option would be when your receive this e-mail, you can access your available e-Statements by logging into Online Banking, clicking on the "eBanking" link and then selecting the date of the statement you wish to view.

 
Q: What are the system requirements to support e-Statements?

 
A: a. 64 MB Ram or Higher
b. Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher, Linux 2.2 Kernel or higher, Macintosh 8.6 operating system or higher; Netscape 4.0 or higher
c. Internet connection
d. Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher; FireFox
e. Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or higher
f. A working e-mail account and that allows attachments

 
Q: How can I view my e-Statements?

 
A: You will need Adobe Reader to view, print, or save your e-Statements. If you do not have Adobe Reader, you may download it for free at http://www.adobe.com. If you need assistance please contact our Customer Service Staff at (770) 387-1922.

 
Q: What if my Internet Browser is not one of the versions needed to access my account information?

 
A: Both Microsoft and Mozilla offer free download upgrades of their browsers on their respective homepages.

 
Q: Can I receive e-Statements if I have not enrolled for Online Banking?

 
A: In order to view e-Statements you will need to be enrolled in Online Banking. If you do not currently have Online Banking please visit our website at www.centurybanknet.com sign up or contact or Customer Service Staff at (770) 387-1922. Online banking is easy and free.

 
Q: Will my e-Statement look the same as my regular printed statement?

 
A: Yes, your e-Statement looks exactly like your paper statement. For legal purposes, a printed version of an online statement is the same as a paper statement mailed to you via. U.S. Mail.

 
Q: Is there a charge for e-Statements?

 
A: No, this service is FREE!

 
Q: How long will my e-Statements be retained on the system?

 
A: Your e-Statements are retained in the e-Statement system for 60 days starting with the first e-Statement generated during the statement cycle when the customer enrolled that account for e-Statements. E-Statements are not available for statement cycles prior to when the customer enrolled that account for e-Statements. If you need do not see the statement you want to view online, please contact our Customer Service Staff at (770)387-1922.

 
Q: Can I view check images in e-Statements?

 
A: Yes, images of your items will be included with your e-Statement.

 
Q: Can I get a paper copy of my statement if I need it?

 
A: Yes, while your e-Statements are available in printable PDF format, you may request a copy of any statement. A statement copy fee may be charged as set forth by Century Bank of Georgia's Fee Schedule.

 
Q: If I sign up for e-Statements for my checking and savings accounts, will I still receive my paper statements?

 
A: No, your papers statements will be discontinued after the first month you receive your e-Statements. You can save and print the e-Statements, and they are legally the same as the paper statements.

 
Q: Will my statement cycle remain the same?

 
A: Yes, your statement will remain on the same statement cycle. In fact, with e-Statements you will receive your statements faster because you won't have to wait for the mail.

 
Q: Is my e-Statement information secure?

 
A: Yes. At Century Bank of Georgia we are dedicated to keeping your information safe and secure. Your information is protected with the highest level of security standards available for online communication. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is a safeguard process which protects against intruders. You may rest easy knowing that your financial information will be protected with state of the art security every step of the way. Your information will be secure and protected by your Online Banking unique NetTeller ID, PIN number, and 128 bit encryption. The e-mailed bank statement is password protected and it is the responsibility of the customer to protect their password.

 
Q: How can I cancel my e-Statements and/or e-Notices and switch back to paper statements?

 
A: To cancel e-Statements, log in to Online Banking, go to "e-Notifications" tab; Click on "Documents and Settings" and uncheck the box beside the statement/notice you no longer want to receive via e-mail.

 
Q: What happens if I change my e-mail address?

 
A: If you change your e-mail address we request that you update your e-mail address in Online Banking using the "Options" link in the Task Bar. You will also need to change your e-mail address using the "e-Notifications" link in the Task Bar. Click on "e-Notifications" then "E-Mail" to change your e-mail address to ensure that you receive your monthly e-mail notifying you your e-Statement is available.

 
Q: Can my accounts be combined into one statement to view on e-Statements?

 
A: Yes, absolutely! Simply let us know by contacting our Customer Service Staff at (770) 387-1922 or notify us by secure e-mail in your Century Bank Online Banking.

 
Q: What other information will I receive electronically if I sign up for e-Statements?

 
A: You will receive your periodic statement, marketing information, important messages such as changes in terms, account notices, and other required disclosures.

 
Q: Will joint account holders be able to view statements online?

 
A: As long as the joint account holder is set up on Online Banking or the Primary Online Banking customer sets up the joint account holder as a recipient.

 
Q: Can more than one person with the same Online Banking ID enroll for e-Statements?

 
A: No

 
Q: How will I receive my last statement if my account is closed?

 
A: If your account is closed, your final statement will be mailed to you in paper form through the postal mail. **This will depend on if the NetTeller ID is immediately deleted when the account has been closed**

 
Q: How do I change my password?

 
A: You will need to log in to Online Banking and Click the "Options" Tab. Locate the "Modify Login Information" at the bottom of the page, you will see "NetTeller PIN" you will be required to "Enter Current" password then you "Enter New" password and "Enter New Again" your new password for verification. It is always a good idea to periodically change your password.

 
Q: What if I forget or disable my password?

 
A: You can contact our Customer Service Staff at (770) 387-1922 to get your password reset.

 
Q: What if I accidentally delete my e-mail notification that my e-Statements are ready?

 
A: Even if you delete the e-mail notification you can still access your e-Statements by logging into the Online Banking service.

 
Q: Why do I have to provide my e-mail address to sign up for e-Statements?

 
A: You will be notified via e-mail when your e-Statement is ready to be viewed.

 
Q: What are the differences between e-Statements and my "Account Activity" page through Online Banking?

 
A:

Both Account Activity screen and your online e-Statements show your transaction history and are free of charge. Here are the key differences between the two:

  1. The Account Activity screen shows all of your recent and pending transactions.
  2. Online e-Statements are electronic versions of the monthly paper statements that you receive by mail. They include transactions from a set period of time (a statement cycle) and do not include any pending transactions.

 
Q: How can I retain or store my statements with e-Statements?

 
A:

There are several ways to retain your statements using e-Statements:

  1. Simply save your Statements to your computer.
  2. Print your Statements.
  3. Download or burn your statement onto a CD, Flash Drive, external hard drive or disk.
  4. Download your statement into Microsoft Money (QFX).
  5. Download your statement into Excel.
